RS33709 / H0922 This is the enhancements bill for the college and universities, including a reduction of $752,900 for the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS); an addition of 4.00 FTP and $510,500 for the transfer of risk managers from the Office of the State Board of Education; and a $1,909,700 endowment funds adjustment. .

This appropriation provides an additional $1,667,300 to the maintenance appropriation provided to the State Board of Education. Table 1 shows incremental adjustments to the budget found in the bill, of which the ongoing increase is $1,667,300, and there are no onetime appropriations. LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF IDAHO Sixty-eighth Legislature Second Regular Session - 2026 IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES HOUSE BILL NO. 922 BY APPROPRIATIONS COMMITTEE AN ACT1 RELATING TO THE APPROPRIATION TO THE STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION AND THE BOARD2 OF REGENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF IDAHO; APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL MONEYS3 TO THE STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION AND THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF THE UNIVER-4 SITY OF IDAHO FOR COLLEGE AND UNIVERSITIES AND THE OFFICE OF THE STATE5 BOARD OF EDUCATION FOR FISCAL YEAR 2027; REDUCING THE APPROPRIATION TO6 THE STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION AND THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY7 OF IDAHO FOR COLLEGE AND UNIVERSITIES AND THE OFFICE OF THE STATE BOARD8 OF EDUCATION FOR FISCAL YEAR 2027; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND PRO-9 VIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.10

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:11

SECTION 1. In addition to any other appropriation provided by law,12 there is hereby appropriated to the State Board of Education and the Board13 of Regents of the University of Idaho for College and Universities and the14 Office of the State Board of Education the following amounts to be expended15 according to the designated programs and expense classes from the listed16 funds for the period July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027:17 FOR18 FOR PERSONNEL19 OPERATING COSTS20 EXPENDITURES TOTAL I.
