Adds to existing law to provide that a pharmacist who dispenses a biological product shall communicate certain information to the prescriber.
The purpose of this legislation is to allow for communication to a prescriber in the event a pharmacist makes a substitution of a biosimilar medication. The legislation allows for a ten-year sunset provision.
