Idaho Bills

Amends existing law to provide for the practice of optometry to include certain therapeutic laser procedures under certain circumstances.

This legislation will allow Idaho optometrists to use three specific therapeutic laser procedures to safely treat Idahoans. Only licensed Idaho optometrists who have graduated from an accredited optometry school where these laser procedures were taught, and who have proven their competency by passing a national board exam on lasers, may perform these therapeutic laser procedures.
