LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF IDAHO Sixty-eighth Legislature Second Regular Session - 2026 IN THE SENATE SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 122 BY JUDICIARY AND RULES COMMITTEE A SENATE RESOLUTION1 STATING FINDINGS OF THE SENATE AND PROVIDING THAT ALL TEMPORARY AND PENDING2 RULES OF THE IDAHO STATE POLICE, THE DIVISION OF VETERANS SERVICES,3 THE SEXUAL OFFENDER MANAGEMENT BOARD, AND THE OFFICE OF ADMINISTRATIVE4 HEARINGS HAVE BEEN REVIEWED AND APPROVED BY THE SENATE JUDICIARY AND5 RULES COMMITTEE, WITH AN EXCEPTION.6 Be It Resolved by the Senate of the State of Idaho:7 WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 67-5291, Idaho Code, standing committees8 of the Legislature shall review any temporary or pending rule that is ger-9 mane to its committee and has been published in the Idaho Administrative Bul-10 letin; and11 WHEREAS, the Senate Judiciary and Rules Committee reviewed temporary12 and pending rules adopted by the Idaho State Police, the Division of Veter-13 ans Services, the Sexual Offender Management Board, and the Office of Admin-14 istrative Hearings.15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the members of the Senate, assembled16 in the Second Regular Session of the Sixty-eighth Idaho Legislature, that17 all temporary and pending rules adopted by the Idaho State Police, the Di-18 vision of Veterans Services, the Sexual Offender Management Board, and the19 Office of Administrative Hearings pursuant to the Administrative Procedure20 Act and submitted through the Office of the Administrative Rules Coordinator21 to the Legislature for review during the 2026 legislative session have been22 reviewed and approved by the Senate Judiciary and Rules Committee with the23 exception of the following temporary rule that was not heard by the committee24 and thus not approved: IDAPA 57.01.01, Sexual Offender Management Board,25 Rules of the Sexual Offender Management Board, Docket No. 57-0101-2502.26 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Senate Judiciary and Rules Committee27 held that the following pending rule docket become effective upon sine die28 of the Second Regular Session of the Sixty-eighth Idaho Legislature: IDAPA29 57.01.01, Sexual Offender Management Board, Rules of the Sexual Offender30 Management Board, Docket No. 57-0101-2501.31
