Amends existing law to provide for the appointment of certain single county-wide highway district commissioners.

This legislation adds two additional highway district commissioners to the current five for countywide highway districts. One of these two additional highway district commissioners will be appointed by the Board of County Commissioners, whiletheotherwillbeappointedbytheGovernor. Theseadditionalpositionswillhelpprovide for improved coordination with county and state governments.
