This bill corrects a language error that relates to the application and rulemaking authority for the chapter of IdahoCodethatrelatestosexoffenderregistration. Thechangesmakeitclearthattheprovisionsofthischapter of code cover both persons convicted of the listed sexual crimes and those convicted of the crime of infamous crimeagainstnature. TheinfamouscrimeagainstnaturewasremovedfromCodeinthe2022legislativesession after it was deemed to be unconstitutional. This change would ensure that no one is removed from the registry, which was the intent of the original legislation.
