The purpose of this legislation is to provide a practical method for using existing law enforcement and Idaho Transportation Department resources to inspect commercial vehicles for dyed fuel in specified circumstances. Theproposalalsodefinesandsetsviolationsandcivilpenaltiesforviolationsundertheactandprovidesspecific exceptions to its applicability.
