Amends existing law regarding a prescription for certain drug products.

Under current law, chiropractic physicians certified in clinical nutrition must use an outsourcing facility, or a 503B pharmacy, to obtain the prescription drug products which they may administer. This legislation would allow a chiropractic physician to obtain patient-specific prescriptions for office use from a licensed, Idaho compoundingpharmacy. Thelegislationdoesnotexpandthelistofprescriptiondrugsthatmaybeadministered by a chiropractic physician certified in clinical nutrition.
