IRRIGATION DISTRICTS -- Amends existing law to provide that certain irrigation districts may combine precincts into one combined polling place, to provide for the location, and to provide for judges of election.
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
The purpose of this legislation is to amend provisions of Idaho Code § 43-206 to allow irrigation districts of 15,000 acres or less to, upon resolution of the Board, combine all election precincts into one polling location at the district office. It also allows the Board of Directors to provide one elector from each precinct to serve as judges of election at the combined polling place.
