FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICTS - Amends and adds to existing law to revise and establish provisions regarding the residence requirements of fire protection commissioners; to provide requirements regarding the Board of Fire Protection Commissioners' responsibility to revise subdistricts; and to establish a process to decrease the size of a fire protection board.
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
This legislation gives the option for fire protection boards to reduce the board size from five commissioners to three, because of hard to fill positions. It also specifies time-frames to revise subdistricts in accordance with Idaho Code
